EPLAN has moved into new Austrian headquarters
Making value creation tangible
EPLAN has moved into a new headquarters in the recently opened Heitec technology centre in Ardagger Stift, Austria. It opens up fascinating perspectives with a presentation of the entire value chain, from machine design and development to engineering to production and maintenance. Prospective customers can experience the entire product life cycle of plant systems based on machine and automation technology, engineering and the digital twin. They can also get an up-close look at the path toward digitisation.
Ardagger Stift, Austria/Monheim, Germany, 05 August 2019 – “Moving our Austrian headquarters into the new Heitec technology centre offers unique opportunities, both for us and for our customers,” says EPLAN Austria Managing Director Martin Berger. EPLAN’s 35 employees and a few colleagues from affiliate CIDEON moved into their new offices on 01 August; the facility has 1,200 square meters of space and is located in Ardagger Stift, not far from EPLAN’s previous headquarters in Amstetten. The EPLAN training centre, with three state-of-the-art seminar rooms, is also integrated into the building, where up to 36 people can be trained simultaneously about the current state of technology.
Setting a course for growth
“By moving into the technology centre, we’re setting a course for our ambitious growth plans in Austria,” Berger says. He is certain that the opportunities on the Austrian market are far from exhausted. There were clear-cut reasons for the move: the old building was too small to add new personnel, which the Sales and Consulting Departments are currently pursuing with great dedication. Yet the advantages the new space offers for customers also played a decisive role in this new alignment.
Collaboration between machine technology, automation and engineering
Integration into the Heitec technology centre – a longstanding partner of EPLAN Austria and user of nearly all EPLAN solutions – offers compelling advantages. Heitec already uses EPLAN’s solutions for designing control technology; using a number of special machines and the corresponding automation technology, the company now describes all its processes with consistent, integrated data – from preplanning and implementation through automation and commissioning and servicing. Topics such as the digital twin and maintenance scenarios are persuasively presented, including the connection of HeiMAX and EPLAN eVIEW as just one example. “Working together under the Heitec umbrella and in cooperation with our affiliate CIDEON, we increase the added value for our customers on the path towards Industry 4.0,” Berger explains. After all, integrated solutions with consistent data, state-of-the-art software tools and automation technology enable increases in productivity and efficiency throughout the entire process. This includes shorter planning cycles and faster manufacturing and assembly processes.
The doors are open
“We’re convinced that our customers will be taking away numerous ideas and proposed solutions for end-to-end digital processes and optimised value creation,” Berger says. He also invites visitors to visit the new offices. Upon request, interested parties can take a tour and also find out about new cloud topics as part of EPLAN ePULSE.
